Brittany Bagent joins GPI team as VP of Strategy
Brittany will spearhead GPI’s five-year regional economic development plan.
Portland, Ore. – Greater Portland Inc (GPI) is pleased to welcome Brittany Bagent to our team. As Vice President of Strategy, she will work with bi-state partners to develop the region’s next five-year regional economic development plan. GPI leads this regular update to the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) as a thoughtful plan for regional economic development. Brittany brings 10 years of economic development and research experience to this role. In her new position, she will also spearhead organizational programming and support the team with research and analysis.

Before coming to GPI, Brittany developed and implemented the five-year economic development plan for Clark County while working for Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) in Vancouver. Prior to that, Brittany worked as a consultant supporting jurisdictions in and around Chicago with their ambitions to create effective development solutions and powerful fiscal tools.

Brittany has an undergraduate degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Miami University (Ohio) and a graduate degree in Urban Planning & Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her first day at GPI was Monday, Oct. 14.
